Kairali – The Ayurvedic Healing Village added another milestone to its journey in 2017 by receiving the Wellness Brand of the Year award at the India Health and Wellness Awards.
The award recognises organisations that have made a meaningful contribution to India’s healthcare and wellness sector. Winners are selected after a detailed evaluation process involving industry experts and an independent jury.
For Kairali, the recognition was a reflection of nearly three decades of work in Ayurveda. What began in 1989 as a vision to make authentic Ayurvedic care more accessible had grown into one of India’s well-known wellness destinations, welcoming guests from around the world.
At the heart of Kairali’s approach is classical Ayurveda. Every wellness programme begins with a consultation by an Ayurvedic physician, followed by a personalised treatment plan that may include Panchakarma therapies, Ayurvedic nutrition, yoga, and lifestyle guidance. This integrated approach has remained unchanged even as wellness tourism has evolved over the years.
The award ceremony brought together leaders from healthcare, government, and the wellness industry. Among those present were Satyendra Kumar Jain, Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Dr. Randeep Guleria, and Nana Patekar, reflecting the growing national focus on preventive health and wellness.
Awards are moments of recognition, but they also mark progress. For Kairali, the Wellness Brand of the Year award acknowledged years of dedication to Ayurvedic healthcare while encouraging the organisation to continue raising standards in wellness and patient care.
Looking back today, the recognition remains an important chapter in Kairali’s story. It reflects the trust the organisation has earned and its continuing commitment to bringing authentic Ayurveda to a wider audience.
