Children’s Hope India was started in 1992 by a group of professional women in New York. It is a 100% volunteer-based organization that raises funds through corporate sponsorships, individual donations, and fundraising gala and cultural events. All the funds raised through the events go directly towards the programs that are designed by the foundation for helping the poor impoverished children in India and giving them a chance for a brighter future. Donors can be assured that every dollar they donate does indeed reaches its destination.

It has given out tuition scholarships to several South Asian students from India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh to assist them in pursuing their academic and career goals through a college education.
