3. Myth: A Panchakarma treatment is just a body massage.

Truth: Completely untrue! A Panchakarma treatment is a complex five-way therapy to purify the body internally as well as externally, for complete detoxification.-

4. Myth: Ayurvedic medicines contain harmful heavy metals.

Truth: Ayurvedic concoctions, when formulated by a reliable source, are entirely safe and natural. The basic principle of Ayurveda is to use ingredients that are completely natural. Some Ayurvedic formulations contain tiny amount of minerals-like gold or-silver, but it has to undergo a vigorous process of purification. 5. Myth: Ayurveda can cure Cancer.

6. Myth: There is no standardization in Ayurveda.
