new Spa Training Institutes in different parts of the country.

Kairali Ayurvedic
Group, a Kerala Ayurvedic brand which is into manufacturing and marketing
Ayurvedic products, plans to establish four Spa training institutes in
India. According to Abhilash KR,
Director, Kairali Ayurvedic Group these institutes will be set up in Delhi,
North East of India, and Kerala. The
plan is to impart training for at least 500 students in Ayurvedic spa therapies
and yoga. The first of the four institutes will be up and running in the third
quarter of 2014 in Delhi, he said.

?The focus of the
group in the last two years has been on backward integration so that we can
maintain quality at every level. We have
established our fourth manufacturing facility in Pollachi, and Spa institutes
are part of this strategy,? he said.
Kairali Group currently run training courses from their award winning
healing centre ? The Ayurveda Healing Village ? in Palakkad in Kerala. ?We do training in a small way now. Now, we want to scale it up and train more
people. Trained manpower is vital to our
own future growth,? Abhilash said.
Without revealing the partner, Abhilash said that the Group has tied up
with a ?big firm? for this.
?Infrastructure for Delhi and Kerala centres are ready. We have already finalized the syllabus for
the courses and also received the government accreditation,? he said.

Kairali Ayurvedic
Group has four business verticals ? Retreats & Resorts; Ayurvedic Treatment
Centres; Ayurvedic Products, and Training Institutes. As part of expanding their footprint in the
hospitality sector, Abhilash said that the Group will be launching Ayurvedic
Hotel Amenities, and are talks with large chain of hotels to manage their hotel
amenities and ayurvedic centres.

Kairali currently
manages hotel spas at number of places.
The group manages the Spa at Westin Hotel Gurgaon and Sohna. The Group has recently signed an agreement
with Amritara Resorts to manage Spas at all their 18 properties. Similarly, they have also tied up with Gloria
Hotels in Dubai to manage Spas in their hotels.
