Lakshya Yoga Retreat (June
26th– July 1st) is one of the signature events of KTAHV which
is organized around the time of World Yoga Day (21st June) every
year. This event not just inculcates the goodness of yoga but also ayurvedic
treatments, therapies, meditation and healthy vegan diet. The activities
involved in this yoga retreat are accommodation in cottages (there are 30
villas which are constructed as per Vaastu Shastra), introduction to the
essence of Ayurveda, consultation with the ayurvedic doctors, two yoga classes
and one meditation session in a day, one ayurvedic massage a day, vegetarian
ayurvedic buffet (three meals a day), ayurvedic cooking workshop, chanting
mantras and nature walk.
Lakshya, the yoga guru in
the retreat hails from Holland and has 7 years of experience and practice in
Hatha Yoga. She did three years course in Vedanta, Sanskrit and Vedic Chanting
under the guidance of Guru Swami Dayananda Saraswati from Coimbatore, India. Lakshya
shows practitioners how to know their inner self through yoga and how to attain
sense of wellbeing. -Her classes are
dynamic in nature and help to focus on the breath and movement synchronization
and allowing students to explore their own potential. Yoga is a way for life
for Lakshya and not just a form of exercise.
Kairali The
Ayurvedic Healing village has world class amenities like in-house library,
swimming pool, conference hall, internet facility, recreational games,
including chess, monopoly, carom, billiards, an amphitheatre for cultural programs
