1. Milk + Fruits (Especially Bananas)
Milk is refreshing and sweet, whereas various fruits, particularly bananas, are sour and dense. When eaten together, they disrupt digestion and can cause sinus congestion, toxins (ama), and a slow metabolism.
Better alternative: Have fruits separately, preferably 30 minutes before or after a meal.
2. Yogurt + Meat or Fish
Yogurt is viewed as warming and dense, whereas meat and fish are high in protein and hard to digest. This blend may intensify Pitta and Kapha doshas, resulting in toxin buildup and skin problems.
